This guitar was built in July 1980. She is not a frampton/frehley model. The Super Real's are the best replica guitars Japan made (apart from the crazy money navigator series.) Pretty much as handmade as you can get -CNC Machinery wasn't introduced till Tokai got one 1982- she features 3 hum bucking pickups. 50's wiring, and genuine FujiCon Paper In Oil caps. Ebony fingerboard has added to the confusion of her model number (EGC 650's and 850's are rosewood fingerboards.) Even the fret ends are nibbed, like Gibson do. The body is dish topped, which Gibson weren't doing in 1980. She is total mint, and 38 years old! Has the original brown Lifton style Super Real case. Interesting fact, her serial number is 04767, which is my birthday! SOLD |
