Fender Twin Reverb 1971/72
One owner from new, purchased at Monster music in London in 1972. This amp was used by BB King at Hammersmith odeon in 1984. He was impressed by the sound that 'Radical sheiks' guitarist Gary Thomas (His support band for the show) got out of it, so he asked to use it for his set! |
Peavey Delta Blues 30 watts made in USA
2 Channel all valve combo, in tweed finish, with the desirable 15" speaker. Someone once said in this very shop, that this was the amplifier Fender should of made, because it has a great clean tone and a great distortion. This the American handmade one, not the modern day Chinese one. |
Mid 70's Fender Twin Reverb
Silver face. The legendary Fender twin, Fender gave these amplifiers a master volume, given the fact that more people wanted to drive their amplifiers -some like it, some don't. These amplifiers have crept up on recordings but just about everyone. This amplifier has just been serviced by Alex Dutton of Dutton amplifiers, and has a brand new foot switch & reverb unit. |
Park 100 watt valve rock combo
Built by Mashall! This actual amplifier was used for the advert around February 1980. You can see this add on p77 of Michael Doyles book 'The history of Mashall.' Signed by the late Jim Marshall. The interesting thing about these amplifiers, apart from being rare, is that Marshalls designer Steve Grindrod was not held back in the design in the same way that the JCM 800 was. Showing a bit of wear and tear now, but a legendary amplifier all the same. |
