1954 Gibson Les Paul
Once owned by the late Jim Ellison of Material issue. This guitar has had extensive inspections by Scott Lentz and Joseph Kaye Guitars, the body is believed to be a ’54 with a re-neck by Gibsons in 1971 (NOTE: John believes that the neck has had a headstock grafted on plus fingerboard replacement. Black light heck indicates that headstock seems to be three-piece but neck is one-piece, we are further investigating.) The mahogany neck has a wide head stock and volute with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. This guitar was originally a gold top (!) which has now been painted over black, this thought to have been done in ’69/71. Fitted with 2 P-90’s which appear to be original. Volume and tone knobs are correct for the ’54 period, however, the pots appear to be dated ’66. Comes with an original ’71 Gibson Hardcase. (With COWBOY written on top, thought to be connected to the Southern Rock band with the same name, which we are investigating more) Whilst not a case queen guitar, Jim was well known for getting guitars to be roadworthy, playing instruments. We’ve just given her a re-string and polished the frets and even with the not so great but period correct wrap around tail piece the intonation is bang on. Very much a useable but classic guitar. £POA |

ESP Navigator
This guitar was also a Japanese purchase, with no issues at all. Its a 1982, we believe that as white Les Pauls was quite undesirable that year, that it could be one of the Randy Rhoads tribute guitars. Long tenon neck (which Gibson wasn't doing in '82) Pick-ups are Seymour Duncan '59's, that we think are original. £2499 |

Paul Reed Smith Multi Foil Special in Copper 1988
"One of the most rarest, most collectable electric guitars in the world." Only 48 guitars were made, and 12 of those were the Copper foil. Not much is known about these guitars, in fact, they're not even mentioned in the PRS book. Due to complications in the lacquering of this guitar, a lot of the guitars finishes had failed, and at the time wasn't a highly desired finish. Mahogany 24 frets on a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. £8999.00 For more information of this rare guitar, this is the link to a great blog post that gives you more details! https://guitarriego.com/en-us/guitar/history-and-specifications-of-prs-multifoil-special-model-guitar/ |

LP Style
Built by Unknown maker in USA Prior to 1978. Neck is possibly S.G or 300 series Gibson. Cause a stir on Ebay a couple of years back... Very heavy guitar, would make good '59 rep project. We've gone through it, done the frets, put a Gretsch style roller bridge on it and she now plays lovely. But do bare in might, it is now near 14lbs in weight. £1699 |

Gibson SG Special 1969
Serial number dates to 1968, but the pots are dated 1969. This is a one owner guitar from new, the owner of this guitar grew up with and was the best friend of famed producer Chris Tsangarides, and they played in the same band together as teenagers. He also went on to tell us that if Chris ever needed a guitar for recording, that needed the P90 sound, he would borrow this! (Although he doesn't know which recordings it would have been used on.) Purchased in the West End, brand new, in 1969. Great to see one without the famed headstock break or changed tuners! She started out as a Cherry red but many gigs around the Mediterranean have faded the finish to a more brown natural. Also the favourite guitar of Pete Townsend in the who late '60's early 70's era. And some bloke called Angus! £4,995 |

Built in the 1996 during 'good years' (1993-1999) (Pick guard removed for photographs) Link to Greg Lake's web page on THIS guitar We now know that THIS guitar was Gregs favourite guitar. £12,995 |
